Dear Future Saint,
Hi, I’m Nathan, and I’m happy you’re here. Let me tell you about the history of this project and the high hopes I have for your future. God created you to be happy, and the only reason this website exists is to help you become the saint God is calling you to be.
Prayer has always fascinated me since I was young, but it wasn’t until college that I started digging deeper into the meditation practices of St. Ignatius of Loyola. With that as my foundation, and after getting a Masters Degree studying the greatest experts in prayer, namely, the saints such as St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, and St. Augustine, among many others, I began developing a practical style of prayer that rested firmly on the wisdom of the Church.
After spending many years growing in prayer, and counseling other spiritual souls on their own prayerful journeys, I found that these practical insights were extremely helpful as I shared them with others, as well. This experience gave me a practical, hands-on approach to life and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of prayer.
I had become tired of hearing people preach about the need for prayer without providing practical tools and instruction on how to grow. This led me to begin writing a book on prayer that summarized these tangible practices for others. The book and the one-on-one coaching in prayer in turn led me to put together a comprehensive online course available for souls desiring to grow in their relationship with God.
This website, along with the books that are coming out, the ongoing podcast on prayer, and the online course, aim to share the wisdom of the Catholic spiritual life with those who desire to grow ever deeper in their spiritual lives. Making this wholesome and dynamic approach to human life and the experience of prayer accessible to others has been my life’s dream; I’m glad you’re along for the journey!

Nathan’s Bio
Founder of The Catholic Prayer Journal, Mr. Miller is an accomplished global leader with over 25 years of international experience across 11 countries and fluency in 4 languages. He holds two Licentiate degrees (Anthropology & Spirituality) and a diploma in youth mentoring from universities in Europe.
Leveraging his background in counseling, Catholic education, strategic management, and leadership coaching, Nathan has served in diverse leadership roles including as Business Manager in a full-service Catholic marketing agency, Cofounder of the reCatholic ministry, CEO of a construction company, National Director for a global Catholic non-profit organization, and Editor-in-Chief of a Catholic formation website in Rome, Italy.
Nathan currently works full-time as a Business Consultant applying his global perspective and diverse expertise to help business owners grow and thrive. He also enjoys basketball, woodworking, and hiking with his wife.
